Description
The new UP-D70XR is the next generation of A4 size color photo-realistic printers offering support for blue thermal transparency media as well as color and black and white media. The UP-D70XR combines superior image quality with ease-of-use. The UP-D70XR provides full letter-sized printing capabilities for users in scientific applications. The UP-D70XR's enhanced architecture includes a new 300 dpi thermal head that prints in color images in approximately 55 seconds and transparency images in approximately 45 seconds. A gray balance calibrating function allows users to set the ideal gray balance for color accurate images. The large print area covers up to 8"x10" on letter-size paper and full-bleed on A4+ paper. The UP-D70XR is fully configured with SCSI and Centronics interface and is fully DICOM 3.0 compatible when used with the optional UPA-D3 Digital Print Server. Software drivers are included for both Windows and Macintosh platforms and Windows and Macintosh plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop are included as well.
